Electric motor pumpsets with subsidy
Objectives
- ✴ To increase power utilization efficiency.
- ✴ To pump more irrigation water at lesser cost.
Funding Pattern
- ✴ 60 % Central and 40 % State fund.
Benefits offered (Subsidy)
- ✴ Subsidy - Rs.15,000/- or 50 % of the cost of electric motor pumpsets whichever is less for purchasing new electric motor pumpsets.
Project Area
- ✴ All the districts in Tamil Nadu (Except Chennai)
Details of Works
- ✴ Subsidy assistance for purchase of new electric motor pumpsets for replacing the old ones or for the purchase of new electric motor pumpsets for the wells newly created.
Eligibility
- ✴ All the farmers who are having their own EB connection for the irrigation well.
Officer to be approached
- ✴ Assistant Engineer (AE) in the concerned block and the Assistant Executive Engineer (AE)’s in the concerned project Revenue Diviosn level..
