Kalaignarin All Village Integrated Agricultural Development Programme (KAVIADP)
Objectives
- ✴ To bring fallow lands under cultivation and increase the cultivable area by creation of new water sources.
- ✴ To increase the agricultural production and productivity.
- ✴ To rehabilitate and improve the water harvesting structures.
Funding Pattern
- ✴ 100% subsidy for all scheme componenta as per the scheme guidelines.
- ✴ Other dovetailed components from various Union Government shared schemes like PM-KUSUM, PMKSY- PDMC - SWMA following the respective scheme operational guidelines and funding pattern.

Project Area
- ✴ 2338 village panchayats identified by RD and PR department under the scheme of Anaithu Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam (except Chennai and The Nilgiris District).
Work Components Implemented
- 1. Creation of Water Source for registered clusters.
- 2. Creation of Water Source (Borewell/Tubewell) for Individual SC/ST farmers.
- 3. Creation of FarmPonds.
- 4. Rehabilitation and improvement works in Panchayat Union MI Tanks, Ooranies, Ponds, Supply Channels and other Water Harvesting Structures.
- 5. Creation of Artificial Recharge Structures.
Eligibility
- ✴ All farmers of the project area of the selected 2338 village panchayats.

- ✴ Assistant Executive Engineer (AE)'s in the concerned project districts.
